Human is an award winning user experience design consultancy with a keen focus on detail and craftsmanship. Our focus is on telling a digital story that puts humans at the core of that journey, translating our customers needs into powerful user experiences. We’ve worked with companies such as Newstalk, Morgan McKinley, XSellco, Ding, Spin1038, Chupi and government agencies like the Environmental Protection Agency to deliver user centric designs for apps, websites and mobile services. Everything we build is designed and coded in our studio in Dublin 6, Ireland.
You are a talented UX designer who wants to work in a bustling studio (we share the space with another creative company). You will work on a number of ongoing projects delivering artefacts ranging from user journeys to wireframes and prototypes. Proven skills have as much value as qualifications and in this role communication is a key skill. We want a designer with drive, enthusiasm, a willingness to learn and above all else the ability to communicate their design ideas both internally and externally. We’re looking for a designer first and foremost but an ability to code or at least understanding coding principles would be a plus. This role is integral to our business and the successful candidate will need to represent the business at all times.
We’re keen to grow our team and we’re opening up a 3 month internship programme for a UX design intern. Your role will involve working directly with our senior UX designer to design and develop user centric solutions to a number of ongoing projects. You will have the experience and ambition to develop and achieve within a busy studio environment. We are a small team so the ability to get involved in any aspect of the company if you are needed is essential. The role is base in our Dublin 6 offices.
We’re looking for someone who’s looking for a great design challenge, hard working and looking to build a role for themselves in a successful UX consultancy. The role will be 9:30am to 5pm four days a week. Expenses will be covered.
If you think this sounds like you please send us a cover letter detailing why you want to apply for this internship, a link to an online portfolio of your work along with a copy of your CV and any other relevant documents to firstname.lastname@example.org We will be commencing interviews with potential candidates in or around the beginning of March 2017.
